On the soggy note: Driving down Cantrel road yesterday with my friend we saw many lovely dogwoods. Just beyond this area there are many still cleaning up from the tornado last week. We didn't venture into the area but I know it will be sad to see all the big lovely trees gone. I have many memories of walking the streets of Cammack Village with Cindy S. playing in the park and swimming at the pool.
I'm off to Hot Springs this morning to visit Garvan Gardens with some friends. I'll have more spring photos to share soon!

This touched my heart this morning.....
God looked around His garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
and lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough
and the hills were hard to climb,
so He closed your weary eyelids
and whispered “Peace be thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you
but you didn't go alone, for part of us
went with you the day God called you home.

oh, Janet! I know you must miss him so much.... when I look at the picture of the two of you- I just think what happiness is the smile the two of you share.
Gardens are indeed where we find peace, our loved ones and God, Himself. Enjoy the Springtime- it's a beautiful gift from a loving Father.
