March

Birthdays - We celebrated my birthday at Red Lobster with Krysta and the Ball's. Then Cindy had cake and candles at her house. My brother in law Greg had a birthday on the 11th. My neice Eden turned 12 on the 15th.

Krysta turned 24 this year. We are very proud of her!

The Wedding

The wedding weekend was great! We had a great time at the rehersal party hosted by the Winkelman's. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a lot of fun. Both families enjoyed the visit with family and friends that shared Janae and Tyler's special day.

this post was written several months ago - I may try to catch up for the year but no promies.

Let the festivities begin!

The wedding is fast approching.

This past weekend my friends hosted a bridal shower for Janae. She had a wonderful turn out and she and Tyler received many nice things from friends and family.

Responses are coming in and the excitement of the upcoming wedding is fun!

One year ---

This year more and more friends and acquaintances have dealt with and are dealing with cancer and I know of many cases of lung cancer. I miss Daddy a lot but not seeing him go through the chemo and radiation I hear others go through is a blessing in it's own way. Many win the battle so I'm not saying treatments are a bad thing. They are great if you are healthy to start out. The lung stuff is a bad thing.

The photo in my header makes me think of him. Home...his place he bought in 1970 and he loved it...lots of memories made there. The white horse isn't his but one that reminds me of his horse Whitey.

Bringing my slide show from last year to the top.... Still miss him bunches.

Happy New Year!

We had a nice holiday with lots of family time. Janae came in on Tuesday and didn't have trouble getting here even though there was freezing weather. We spent Christmas Eve in Sheridan and since it was warm we took photos around the pasture since we are about to sell it.

Callie is walking everywhere! Eden and Weston are getting taller!

Both girls were engaged this year. Both of their guys were here part of the time too!

After Christmas morning at home we met the Sanders gang at Mom's. Lots of food, gifts and playing Catch Phrase.

We celebrated the New Year quietly and have enjoyed hubby's vacation.

Winter weather

We had sleet Monday and were frozen in on Tuesday. Today it seems the thaw will come. It was crazy how rolled off the house and piled up in some places. Below is a before and after by the door. It looks very wintery but it's all ice so walking was slippery.

Let the Holidays begin!!

Greetings from the bad blogger:

Busy with decorating and a house full of family for Thanksgiving.

We had a great weekend with both sides of the family. Daughter #1 and her fiancee came in from TX and Daughter #2's honey was here also. Lots of food and fun. Boys eat alot did you know that? Our siblings and their families and our Mom's were also here and we can't forget the 5 dogs!!! 7 if you count the 2 at SIL's. We went from our house to SIL's house to hang out and eat. Cute baby girl, food, teens, football, dogs, trampoline, food, pool, dishes, poker, food. We had a good time.

Next week I'm hosting an open house for my club so my house is looking festive and now I need to focus on the shopping part. Lots going on.
